Hi everyone my name is Genesis Ocasio i am 17 years old and i am from Puerto Rico , it all started when i was 13 in middle school i was new to everything over in PR , see i was raised in Pennsylvania and coming to a Spanish country was difficult , I barely new how to speak the language so the made fun of my accent and also of my grammar , I'm alergic to mosquito bites , so coming to PR wasn't the best my legs were full of bites and of scaps i was very shy cause of that , they also made fun of that , and called me names , also they would say "Poor mosquito that lays on you , I think you will kill the mosquito , and not the other way around ." I would cry every day when I got home .Then one day out of no where this girl started a rumor about me having lice , it wasn't true but they still would say I did , I would cut class and skip school just to not get near them or see them . One day I couldn't hold it anymore and stood up for myself , I said its my body my problem , you don't like people talking about you or your defects so don't and stop talking about mine ! Don't doubt it you are awesome don't let any one tell you, you are worthless because you are important ! Stand up for yourself you are not alone ! Remember maybe today you are in a storm and don't know what to do but , tomorow is a new day a new beginning filled of live and laughter . Always some one is gonna be there for you don't doubt that .
