I am a social worker that is working with a family that is currently experiencing a severe case of bullying. She has been cyber-bullied, physically assaulted on 3 occasions and threatened to have her throat slit and being pushed into oncoming traffic. Myself and her mother attended a meeting with administration and they are denying any instance or report of this. It has been reported but it seems as though the report is "missing". Administration blamed my client for all of her bullying as she either instigates it or it's because of who she hangs out with. We have attempted to discuss a stay away agreement and even a restraining order against this bully but the school says they will not enforce it. I am appalled at this. Her mother is afraid for her safety and her daughter is afraid to go to school.
