My 5 year old girl has been bullied on more than one occasion. I sent an email to her teacher about what was happening and she forwarded it to the principal. He took care of the issue immediately. The older boy was circling her face with his fist threatening to punch her in the face. The next day the same boy was spitting in her face. The principal witnessed this event and immedately pulled the boy out of the bus line. He also phoned the boys mother. He is no longer allowed contact wit other kids while waiting for the bus. I'm so thankful they were able to put a stop to it this time. She was so afraid to go to school. I was also told what a great child my daughter is and assured she did nothing to provoke this boy. I never thought I'd have to worry about my child being bullied at 5. She is so hurt. And I'm terrified of what is to come if this is going on already.
