My daughter Justina is going to SAND CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL and is in the 6th grade. When school first started she loved finally being in 6th grade. She had started meeting some new friends. My daughter has had to overcome many obstacles in her young life. Her bio mom is a recovering addict and prostitute and due to her chosen lifestyle Justina has no father and so misses this unknown man in her life as she was born as a product of a trick. She has emotional issues and then diagnosed in kindergarten as having ADHD. She is currently on medication and is doing better, till the bullying started about 2 weeks ago now. I have had guardianship of this child since she was 1 yr old. Justina is the type of child whom will give you the shirt off her back, she has empathy for all kids, adults and animals. She sticks up for kids whom are being bullied by other kids and will befriend those kids. Now last week she was at a rally at her school and kids had the opportunity to meet MISS NEW YORK whom was a guest speaker at her school whom was talking about her issues with bullying when she was younger. While she was talking about bullying my child was being Bullied by 4 girls. These girls were screaming at her" Telling her to shut up and sit down, saying you smell, close your legs you stink are you getting your period". My child was in tears when she came home. I then next day called the teacher and informed her of incident and she said I will take care of it. Then the girl of course continued to be abusive to my child by taunting her in the hallways and telling her not to come near here. Continues to tell her she is digusting and sit on the floor not in her seat. I went this past friday and spoke to the school principal. He assured me would talk with child and teacher. Monday the 7th my daughter came home again in tears and said i do not want to go to school no more I can not take it seeing her every minute of the day. Today I again went to school and spoke with the asst. Principal whom was going to speak with the girl again today. Meanwhile my daughter gets special education for 2 subjects and this girl in her class. My child said today to me and the asst. principal " I FEEL DEAD INSIDE" This mad me so sad and feel helpless as a parent. kayrn
