University of Hartford's Psi Chi Chapter is so excited to host, "Hartford Stands as One: A Day Against Bullying"

At 11:00am we will be screening "Bully"

Following we will have a catered lunch break, and have time to discuss initial reactions to the eye-opening, and often heart-wrenching film.

At 1:30pm, Dr. Jo Ann Freiberg, a CT state consultant, who works to make school systems safe and nurturing environments, will talk about "Bullymania," and creating positive climates in schools.

At 2:30pm, we are honored to have David Long, featured in the film "Bully", address his personal story, and share how bullying took the life of his son, Tyler. David will be here on behalf of his NPO, Everything Starts With 1 whose vision is "that all children have the opportunity to participate in an educational environment free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment."

After David Long's talk, there will be a Q and A wrap-up and de-briefing.
