DEFEATED

The title for my story says it all. I feel defeated. My daughter is being bullied by a groud of kids, who don't accept the way she dresses or her character. Sophia, my daughter, loves to be unique and she is beautiful. Last November, Sophia tried to commit suicide by cutting her wrist. Luckily, I was able to intervene and take her the hospital. She is still with us, but everyday my mind is worried that she will attempt again and she won't be with me. I have begged the school, the school administration to help me. They ignore me. I have begged them to put her in a different school and they denied my request. Since the bullying started at the beginning of the school year, Sophia skips school and has landed herself in the courts for truancy. But yet, they still won't help. She was in Boystown for a month due to the skipping school and suicide thoughts. I feel defeated; I don't know what to do. I have went to the news but they never have contacted me to tell my story. I keep praying and hoping that I come home from work everyday and I see my daughter still here with us. I should not have to feel this way. I should be able to go about my day and know she is safe at school. I am defeated.
